What changes and when
BigCommerce says, in a Stencil warning entry dated November 2, 2026, that wishlist pages change starting December 8, 2026. The change covers the {{wishlist}} object on wishlist detail pages and public wishlist share pages. The rollout is gradual over the following weeks, so not every storefront changes on December 8.
Does your theme need a change?
The url, add_to_cart_url, pre_order_add_to_cart_url, add_to_wishlist_url and remove_url fields in {{wishlist.items}}, plus each url in {{wishlist.pagination.links}}, will include the storefront scheme and domain. share_url stays a relative path. Themes that prefix these URLs with a domain or base path need to remove that prefix and render the values as they are. Themes that render the values directly, including Cornerstone, need no changes.
Check the templates before December 8
If a customized Stencil theme adds a domain or base path before wishlist links, check those templates before the rollout reaches the storefront. The useful first test is a search for a hard-coded domain or base path in wishlist templates.
